The 3rd Annual Strings on the River features music performed by the orchestras from the Duval County Schools of the Arts. Strings on the River '08 will include performances by accomplished orchestra students from 3rd through 12th grades who attend Brentwood School of the Arts, Pine Forest School of the Arts, LaVilla School of the Arts and Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. Over 300 students will be performing in this spectacular presentation, under the auspices of The Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra. Strings on the River '08 will be one of the largest instrumental performances of the year in Jacksonville, and feature Ruxandra Marquardt as the featured artist.
